Indigenous Engagement


Anderson Recruitment acknowledges the traditional owners of country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land and community. We pay our respect to them and their cultures, and to the elders both past and present.

We believe that having a dedicated focus on Indigenous employment will assist in addressing the over-representation of unemployment for Indigenous Australians. That is why we have identified Indigenous engagement as a policy priority, and believes that improving work and career opportunities for Indigenous people is good for Australia as a whole.

We work closely with Aspire Indigenous which is an Indigenous owned and operated organisation with a focus on improving the opportunities and skills for indigenous youths and adults seeking employment. 

Aspire Indigenous was founded in response to industry’s growing need to access a diverse and highly skilled workforce. Their goal is to close the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities through cooperation, respect, unity and by using culturally appropriate methodologies around effective community engagement.
